Microchip’s PIC18F25K83 family of products combines CAN connectivity,
Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) and some of our most capable analog
peripherals. In addition, this family offers increased safety-critical functions,
simplifying complex design.
The optimized CAN module supports 1.2 and 2.0 A and B protocol allowing
for migration and design flexibility. Additionally, the combination of CIPs and
safety-critical functionality provides you with the ability to accomplish tasks in
hardware while freeing up the CPU to do other tasks. This results in reduced
power consumption, allowance for deterministic response time and decrease
firmware development and validation time. The K83 family includes a 12-bit
Analog-to-Digital Converter with Computation (ADC2), which automates analog
signal analysis for real-time system response.
