responds to the codes emitted by an
ordinary television remote control.
It is often the case that a
microcontroller is expected to tame
higher power devices. For ventures
along these lines, I’ve included a
DPDT relay and a DC motor. With
regard to the latter, the ever versatile
PIC12F683 also includes pulse width
modulation (PWM) capabilities, so
it’s a snap to efficiently control motor
speed this way.
